Rtn. R. Siva, MA, M.Phil.,

He completed his BA, MA, courses from Government Morning College, Salem and M.phil., research course from TBML College, Poraiyar, Nagapattinam district.

He is currently doing his Ph.D. research at Ramakrishna Vidyalaya College, Coimbatore.

He has stood second in the university level in MA studies. 

Sports achievements 

He played for the Periyar University team for five consecutive years in the South Indian level hockey tournament 

Also, in 2005, he created the first record in hockey in Periyar University. Achadhana has not yet been broken 

NCC achievements  

He got a place in the Tamil Nadu team that participated in the Republic Day Camp held in Delhi in 2001.

In 2001, he was included in the Tamil Nadu team in Prime Minister Rally held at Delhi Garrison Parade Ground. 

In 2002, he was part of the Tamil Nadu team that won first place in the Drill Competition at the national level.

In 2001, he participated in the Indian National Student Corps in the Republic Day Parade held at Rajpath, Delhi. 

In 2002, he received the award for the best student of the National Student Corps from the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu

Work experiences

Worked as Honorary Lecturer in Salem Government Arts College for about 1 year 

He has worked as a Master coach at Jawaharlal Nehru Leadership Training Institute, New Delhi for two years.

He has worked as a teacher in various leading IAS Coaching Institutes in Chennai for about 3 years 

He has been giving advice and counseling to the youth on Kodai FM and local TV from time to time about government competitive exams.

Sub Inspector, Internal Auditor in Bank, etc. He is doing educational work without going for various government jobs 

Currently, he is running a coaching institute called Shiva IAS Academy for the past 61/2 years.

He has provided free coaching to more than 1000 very poor students. Most of them are currently in government service.

So far more than 600 students have been trained by this institute and are in government service and have secured top rank in competitive exams. 

The highlight of his training is that he helps them to learn without stress by using the formula "Memorization requires mental image" to relieve stress by memorizing words.

He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Salem Hockey Association.

He is also the President of Salem Hockey Club 

He is also holding the post of District Vice President of the World Thirukkural Federation 

Awards received 

Best Teacher Award 2012 by Rich India Civil Services Academy.

"Gem Of Tamilnadu" award has been given by National Integrity Cultural Academy in the year 2014.

The Saraswati Charitable Trust in Chennai has honored the best achiever in the year 2015.

Academic Achievement Award 2017 has been presented by "Tamil Poets Kalai Literary Society" and 'Tamil Work Foundation'.

In 2018, Puduyugam TV honored the company run by him as the "Best Coaching center" of Salem.
